Chris is a CPA, CA with over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He is a finance professional with experience in banking, wealth management, other financial services and not-for-profit businesses. Chris’ responsibilities most recently at CIBC included providing strategic direction for large and diverse Finance teams; development, mentoring and oversight to senior finance and banking professionals; advice and support to Senior Executives; consolidation planning, analysis and performance reporting; and, delivering against key initiatives that support strategy. He has also been a director of a number of bank subsidiaries. Before joining CIBC, Chris held management roles in Finance at Merrill Lynch and was an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young.  Chris was a Board Member at United Way of Halton Hills starting in 2007, with various roles including President, Treasurer and Campaign Chair. From 2002 – 2009, Chris was a member of the Ridley College Advancement Committee and since 2016 has been a member of the Ridley College Finance and HR Committee including current role of Vice-chair. He is also on the Finance and Audit Committee of Taekwondo Canada.  Chris received his CPA and CA in 1995 and graduated from Brock University in 1992 with Honours in Business Administration.

Mary dedicates her time and energy to various organizations and charities, while ranked a Top 1% Agent for Royal LePage in Canada with 90% of business resulting from repeat clients and referrals, attributed to personal service, negotiation skills, and excellence in follow-through and character. In 2015, Mary received the Lloyd Duncan Award for Outstanding Volunteerism from United Way Oakville. Mary also earned the Lifetime National Chairman’s Club Award from Royal LePage in 2012, representing 10 years in the Top 1%. She received the Paul Harris Fellow Award from Rotary International in 1999 and 2012. Mary was United Way Oakville’s 2010 Campaign Chair, exceeding the $3.6 million goal by 9%.

Dan is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA) with 30 years of experience in finance, mainly in the high tech manufacturing industry. His career included assignments in the United States, Europe and Canada.  Dan is currently Chief Financial Officer at OTI Lumionics Inc.  He also holds an Executive MBA.  Prior to joining the United Way Halton & Hamilton, Dan was Treasurer of the United Way of Halton Hills.

Greg Jones is a strategic communicator with a strong track record of business results over his 20-year career in corporate and consulting agency settings.  He partners with executives and senior management to provide communications advice and execute business plans that enhance the reputation of leading organizations. Currently the Managing Director, Communications & Public Affairs at Terrapure Environmental, Greg leads the company’s positioning as an environmental services leader among a diverse range of stakeholders, including employees, customers, government officials, regulators and local communities.  Greg is responsible for internal and external communications, branding, social media, community relations and government relations. A key aspect of Greg’s role is leading Terrapure’s Community Investment program. This involves setting priorities for the company’s charitable giving and volunteering initiatives and working with partners in the non-profit sector to ensure maximum impact and collaboration. Greg holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Western Ontario and a post-degree certificate in public relations from Humber College.  As a life-long Burlingtonian, Greg is thrilled to be able to make a meaningful contribution to the United Way of Burlington & Greater Hamilton and the organizations and people it supports in our local communities. Greg was a member of the United Way of Burlington & Greater Hamilton board of directors from 2015 – 2017 and also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Ontario Environment Industry Association.

Rob Forbes is a Senior Financial Advisor at Hamilton Health Sciences and has had 12 years of experience in Healthcare and a reputation support, teamwork and exceptional financial ability. He holds a Chartered Professional Accountant Designation (CPA, CGA) and received a Honors Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University. He currently resides in Dundas with his wife Mary, son Liam and their dog Rusty.
