Lisa enjoys her work as President of the ETFO Halton Local, representing approximately 3000 elementary teachers in the region. She has been a teacher for nearly 20 years and has dedicated her career to championing Ontario’s public education system. She is passionate about social justice and human rights issues and has led or been involved in many initiatives that make a difference to students, teachers, and their school communities. Lisa is also an active delegate to the Oakville and District Labour Council, an organization that represents 10,000 public and private sector union members and does work to ensure that the concerns, beliefs, and priorities of working people are supported in the community.

Adejisola is a people manager with RBC Royal Bank of Canada. She has been working with RBC for 16 years and in the Banking Industry for 30 years. She is a retail banking specialist, a collaborator, result focused, and a consummate high achiever. Prior to this role she was a Branch Manager, where she led her branch to senior manager level. Adejisola was also a financial planner for 4 years; she provided integrated planning advice with a focus to retain and grow a portfolio of high-potential and high-value clients. Adejisola moved into leadership role because of her passion to build leaders. A coach, mentor, community leader, and author. She believes in paying it forward and so very much involved in her community, was a Steering committee member of Federation of Black Canadian, and founder of Council of Nigerian Professionals Inc. (CNP), and African Caribbean Council of Halton (ACCH). She is a volunteer with JA Central Ontario, a mentor with Access Employment and TRIEC, and an ambassador with Algoma University. A lifelong learner, she completed her EMBA in Digital Transformation with DeGroote Business School, McMaster University in 2019. She holds an Accounting Diploma from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos Nigeria; BSC in Banking and Finance from Olabisi Onabanjo University Nigeria; Bachelor’s in Business Administration with minor in Human Resource Management “Honors” with Algoma University, Ontario Canada; and has the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) Designation with other professional certifications. She is married with two children. When she is not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, reading, volunteering, and watching movies.

Cam Galindo recently served as an elected trustee on the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, Vice-Chair of the Board and Chair for Policy, and Finance & Facilities Committees. He helped balance a $682.2 million annual budget while serving 49,520 students and supporting 5,277 staff members. As a volunteer with United Way, Galindo has been a long-time impact speaker, served on the Campaign Cabinet, and was Chair of GenNext.

As a first-generation student, Galindo graduated from McMaster University in 2017 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, a minor in economics, and an integrated Business Studies Certificate from Mohawk College. Galindo recently completed a Master of Public Policy at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, and was a resident Junior Fellow at Massey College.

Galindo’s passion for community engagement runs strong and begun shortly after his arrival to Canada as a refugee from Colombia at six years old. As an at-risk youth raised by a single mother of two in a low-income household while struggling with an undiagnosed disability, Galindo connected with the community through volunteerism and organizing opportunities.

He has served on multiple municipal and provincial advisory committees across Ontario, including the Premier’s Council on Youth Opportunities. He advised the Premier, cabinet ministers, and staff on enhancing youth-oriented programs, policies, and strategies. Galindo helped design a $5 million youth opportunities fund and advised on a $295 million youth jobs strategy. He was also involved in developing the Ontario Poverty Reduction Strategy, Ontario’s Education Strategy, Youth Action Plan, the Aboriginal Child and Youth Strategy, and the Ontario Culture Strategy.

Galindo has worked at the Canada School of Public Service and the Canada Revenue Agency. As Community Lead for Ample Labs, Galindo helped rollout Chalmers in Hamilton, an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot to help people experiencing poverty and homelessness find social services, free meals, shelter, clothing, and more.

A proud member of the LGBTQ2S+ community, Galindo has a passion for travelling, swimming, public speaking, storytelling, and community organizing. He is fluent in Spanish and conversational French and currently plays water polo on Toronto’s Triggerfish.

Trent Ogilvie is a Canadian business leader in the building materials space who successfully put stone wool on the insulation map in North America. Trent served as the President of ROCKWOOL North America (formerly ROXUL), a subsidiary of ROCKWOOL International, Denmark, from 1995 until his retirement in April 2020. As the first North American business leader to be hired by the ROCKWOOL Group, Trent led the remarkable achievement of building out ROCKWOOL North America and its brand from the ground up in Canada, USA, and Mexico. With a deep understanding of creating demand and dramatic growth for the unique and sustainable stone wool insulation product, Trent expanded the business from a “turn-around” stage in 1995, to a now 5-factory network with 1,000 employees, sales exceeding $500 million in North America, and capital investments approaching $1 billion. Trent’s many leadership achievements were also supported by his expertise in crisis management, assembling strong management teams, and effective succession planning. Trent holds a BaSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo and he is ICD.D certified through the Institute of Corporate Directors. Trent has served on many Board’s throughout his career and is currently active serving as an Advisory to several companies.

Sari started his career with the Halton District School Board in 2002. He is currently the Superintendent of Human Resources serving as a key member of the senior leadership team for the Board, where he provides strategic human resources direction and advice to the Director of Education, the senior leadership team and the Board of Trustees. Sari is a Member of the Labour Relations Council (LRC) for the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA) and serves on a variety of provincial and school board committees including the Council of Senior Human Resources Officials. Sari holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Public Management from the University of Guelph, a Master of Arts degree with a specialization in Public Policy and Administration from McMaster University.
