Trent Ogilvie is a Canadian business leader in the building materials space who successfully put stone wool on the insulation map in North America. Trent served as the President of ROCKWOOL North America (formerly ROXUL), a subsidiary of ROCKWOOL International, Denmark, from 1995 until his retirement in April 2020. As the first North American business leader to be hired by the ROCKWOOL Group, Trent led the remarkable achievement of building out ROCKWOOL North America and its brand from the ground up in Canada, USA, and Mexico. Trent’s many leadership achievements were also supported by his expertise in crisis management, assembling strong management teams, and effective succession planning. Trent holds a BaSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo and he is ICD.D certified through the Institute of Corporate Directors. Trent has served on manyl Board’s throughout his career and is currently active serving as an Advisory to several companies.
