Susan Ksiezopolski has worked for the Ontario Public Service (OPS) for over 30 years in a variety of different Ministries. The majority of her OPS career was spent in the delivery and management of large scale IT projects. For the later part of her time with the OPS Susan lead the development of building capacity for project management and business transformation. While working Susan volunteered on a number of non-profit Boards. In addition to being on the Board for the United Way Halton Hills since 2009, she was on the Board of the QCC (a non-profit Public Sector recognition organization) from 2009 – 2014, holding the role of President from 2011-2013. She is currently retired, provides consulting services to public sector organizations and continues to be an active volunteer in community-based organizations, sitting on not-for-profit Boards. Since retiring in 2013, Susan has taken on the role of Campaign Chair for the United Way Halton Hills, is on the Humber Project Management Advisory Board and has also developed and delivers creative writing workshops across the GTA.  She is a published author and has donated the proceeds from her two poetry books and her writing workshops to help support the United Way campaign efforts.  In addition to holding a Bachelor of Arts – Applied Geography, from Ryerson University, Susan is also a certified Project Management Institute – Project Management Professional (PMP®), and holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from the George Washington University School of Business. She is also a PRINCE2 Certified Registered Practitioner and has completed the Leading Strategic Change Executive Program at Rothman School of Business and the Gestalt Institutes, International Organizational Systems Development Program. Since retirement she is a graduate of the Humber School For Writers and a trained facilitator volunteering with the Toronto Writer’s Collective delivering writing workshops for vulnerable communities to help transform lives.
