Recognized as one of the largest United Way bodies in Canada, Jennifer leads the Resource Development team, focused on collective impact and performance driven execution across annual $10M+ campaigns. She is responsible for leading the transformation of revenue diversification, corporate philanthropy, donor engagement, special gift initiatives, and digital strategy.

A community advocate and business leader with over 15 years’ experience thinking strategically, assuming leadership in highly visible situations, and building relationships at all levels, Jennifer connects stakeholder’s philanthropic aspirations into community impact across multiple donor channels and platforms.

Uniting the fundraising efforts of diverse communities towards a shared impact, Jennifer annually leads a volunteer Campaign Cabinet of senior business leaders to ignite action, supporting service delivery for more than 200,000 local residents.

Committed to enhancing the effectiveness of the United Way movement, Jennifer has served in many leadership roles at both regional and national levels, including as an experienced presenter through national conferences, training of Resource Development Fundamentals, participation in UWCC Leaders Networks, and facilitation of Campaign Analytic programs in communities across Canada since 2007.

Prior to United Way, Jennifer started her career with leadership roles within Municipal Community Services.

Through local community volunteer work, Jennifer serves on the fundraising executive and Cambridge Food Bank Board of Directors. Jennifer is an active Rotarian and Paul Harris member. In addition to various Rotary Board positions since 2006, Jennifer served 5 years on a regional Rotary Executive inspiring future business and entrepreneurial leaders.

Jennifer earned an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies & Sociology with a minor in Women’s Studies, and studied Public Relations abroad at the University of Canberra, Australia. She strongly believes a community is measured by how the most vulnerable are treated. Her interests are numerous and varied: world travel, yoga and the Arts.
