Greg Jones is a strategic communicator with a strong track record of business results over his 20-year career in corporate and consulting agency settings. He partners with executives and senior management to provide communications advice and execute business plans that enhance the reputation of leading organizations. Currently the Managing Director, Communications & Public Affairs at Terrapure Environmental, Greg leads the company’s positioning as an environmental services leader among a diverse range of stakeholders, including employees, customers, government officials, regulators and local communities. Greg is responsible for internal and external communications, branding, social media, community relations and government relations. A key aspect of Greg’s role is leading Terrapure’s Community Investment program. This involves setting priorities for the company’s charitable giving and volunteering initiatives and working with partners in the non-profit sector to ensure maximum impact and collaboration. Greg holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Western Ontario and a post-degree certificate in public relations from Humber College. As a life-long Burlingtonian, Greg is thrilled to be able to make a meaningful contribution to the United Way of Burlington & Greater Hamilton and the organizations and people it supports in our local communities. Greg was a member of the United Way of Burlington & Greater Hamilton board of directors from 2015 – 2017 and also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Ontario Environment Industry Association.
