Challenge for CHANGE

Join us in discovering our local community, at United Way Halton & Hamilton’s Challenge for Change. Even though we can’t meet in person, we all still care about our local community. United Way Halton & Hamilton’s Challenge for Change, will raise much needed funds to support the growing need in our community. We are taking precautions for your safety during this event. Despite this extraordinary time, our community needs your support more than ever. COVID-19 has affected so many people in our regions, and you can make a difference by participating, fundraising and discovering the community.
Each team will be challenged to search for hidden gems in our local community. Prizes will be awarded for the top fundraising team, top individual fundraiser, and the first team to complete the challenge. You will be provided a map with 12 stops, and your captain can choose the Hamilton or Halton map. There will be challenges at each stops. You must visit each location complete the challenge and provide a picture as proof. Bonus points will be awarded throughout the journey. Follow @UnitedWayHH on social media for clues and bonus points.
Each team must submit images from each stop or challenge. One point will be awarded for each stop/challenge.
There is no registration fee. Each team member must fundraise at least $150 to be eligible for prizing. This counts towards your workplace campaign total.
Once your team has registered, your team and individual fundraising pages make it easy to approach your friends, family, and neighbours to help you reach your goal. Tax receipts will be provided for donations over $25.
