Halton Hills

Exciting and Endless

This year I write our final report as CEO for United Way Halton Hills. I feel a sense of pride and accomplishment, but more importantly a sense of anticipation and excitement as our organization joins forces with our friends, neighbours and colleagues to form United Way Halton & Hamilton.

The coming together of United Way Halton Hills, Milton, Oakville and Burlington & Greater Hamilton will produce a more efficient and sustainable organization.

The increase in capacity and resources will enhance the connections and relationships already formed between United Way and the Halton Hills community.

As we move forward, we invite you to visit us at our new location – 8 James Street, Georgetown. The new office will allow for staff of United Way Halton & Hamilton to increase visibility and community engagement. We will reinforce to our donors that funds raised in their community will stay in their community.

The possibilities for the future of United Way and Halton Hills are exciting and endless. There will be growth, renewed hope and the potential for increased support to the many social programs. As a larger organization, with a local presence, we can develop a deeper understanding of our own community’s needs and address them in the best manner possible. Because after all, we are stronger together!

CEO United Way Halton Hills
